The gym at Leverburgh Community Hub has opened and its first members are making use of the new exercise facilities which include treadmills, a rowing machine, elliptical trainers, bikes, dumbbells and kettle bells.

Once an induction has been completed, visitors can pay £6 per visit pay as you go, or take out a monthly (£20) or annual (£200) membership (concession rates also available). Anyone aged 14 and up can use the gym, but those under 16 must be supervised by an adult.
The opening adds another facility to the services available at the hub, which now include a charity shop, launderette, historical society exhibition and pop-up café space. The Board at Leverburgh Community Hub are grateful for the financial assistance received from NHS Western Isles Capital Grant fund and the CLLD fund for the purchase of new gym equipment.
