Dè tha dol? is the Isle of Harris’ fortnightly printed newspaper

Owned and produced by Harris Voluntary Service, its primary aim is to keep the community informed about the news and events that affect them, and to give local organisations the opportunity to raise awareness about their work.

Articles and photographs are contributed by the Editor and HVS team and by community groups, schools, and clubs.

As part of its service, Dè tha dol? carries local planning and crofting applications, grant opportunities, bin collection timetables, and the Leabhar Là - a What’s On page (inclusion is free of charge).

Dè tha dol? is available from shops around Harris, as well as via online and postal subscription. The newspaper is funded through a combination of sales, support from advertisers, and HVS funds.

Advertising rates are reduced for Harris Voluntary Service members.
